Catholicism, Simply Put

Written by:

The Catholic faith can feel big and unwieldy. There is a lot stuffed in there, what with 2000 years of philosophers, theologians, martyrs, miracles, and more. Trying to understand Catholicism can feel a bit like walking in to a Basilica for the first time. It’s a dazzling panorama of images, statues, and artifacts steeped in layers of meaning and metaphor.

I have sympathy for the person who doesn’t know how to make heads or tails of it. Partly for that reason, I started a series of YouTube videos that come out biweekly explaining the Catholic faith in simple terms.

The videos follow the Catechism of the Catholic Church from beginning to end, are no more than 3 minutes long, and put the faith in plain language. I hope you find them helpful. Here are a couple of them:

1. Longing for God.

4. Getting to Know God

I hope they are encouraging for you.
